Student Days - Thursday and Friday, November 18 & 19
Family Day - Saturday, November 20 (10 AM - 5 PM)

Enjoy the adventure of first-hand experience of varied cultures. You can visit the continents of Asia and Africa in the lobby area and Europe and the Americas in the East Exhibit Hall. Come face-to-face with people from every corner of the world and feel their friendliness. See the arts and crafts, hear the sounds, be entertained, and taste the flavors of the world. Observe the many wonderful traditions handed down from many generations and brought here from other countries.

Don't miss the Opening Ceremony and Parade of Flags to start off the celebration! Catch the colorful dancers and musicians from two stages, in the cultural booths or the strolling musicians.

Have fun with your passport! Visit and explore the countries and feel the ambiance of world travel. Shop for souvenirs. Fancy a fresh or handmade paper flower, jewelry, doll, doily or a Pysanky Easter egg. Some booths will have an artist demonstrating their art. You will find interesting and unique items from many countries.

Visit the Art Gallery to see the works of art by local artists. See West Africa's authentic Yoruba hand beaded masquerader costume, a sample of an African culture brought to the New World.

Come face-to face with excitement! Surround yourself with treasures, folk art, different languages and smiles!

While you're munching, enjoy entertainment from two stages. Sit, relax and let the music and dancing take you to another country!

CHILDREN'S CORNER

Just imagine! Bring the kids to the Storytelling/Puppet Room, then move on to the hands-on activity area for much more excitement and fun such as face painting, clowns and balloons. See the smiles on your kids' faces as they enjoy all the fun!

Produced in his senior year at Davidson High School (Class of 2008), it is his interpretation of the Mobile International Festival's 25th Anniversary Celebration. Simon is currently a student at the University of South Alabama, majoring in Communication with a focus in Radio/TV/Film.
