The photo shows the attendees of the recently held “Asociacion de Mujeres Hispanas Conferencia de Salud Para Las Mujeres Hispanas” (Association of Hispanic Women Health Conference for Hispanic Women) at the Wallace Auditorium of Springhill Memorial Medical Center on June 28 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Speakers like Dr. Danilo Herrera and Dr. Cesar Roca addressed health concerns for Hispanic women. The free event is held in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of Mobile International Festival. The “Asociacion de Mujeres Hispanas” is a cultural outreach program of Mobile International Festival that was started by Estela Dorn, Gloria Schneider and Minerva Pettway who are all very active in the “asociacion”. Gloria Schneider is president and Minerva Pettway is the treasurer of “Asociacion de Mujeres Hispanas”.
