Jeff Floyd

Jacksonville, FL native Jeff Floyd’s classic R & B voice resounds with elements of influences such as the late Teddy Pendergrass & Bobby Womack, yet his voice is refreshingly one of a kind.

As is the case with countless Soul vocalists, Jeff first began singing in the church choir and eventually became a multi-instrumentalist as well. During his career, Jeff has performed with some of the top recording artists in the world including New Edition, The Ohio Players, Shirley Murdock, James Ingram, Clarence Carter and Brian McKnight among others.

It was at such a performance that he piqued the interest
of Legendary Stax recording artist , songwriter, producer and label owner William Bell, who ultimately signed Jeff to a production and management deal on the Wilbe Records imprint.

Jeff’s first Wilbe Records release, “Powerhouse” in 2001 was a tremendous success featuring the breakout hit single “I Found Love (On a Lonely Highway)” followed by 2004’s “The Power Is Still On” which spawned several hits & featured a duet with label owner Mr. William Bell himself! “Keepin’ It Real”, Floyd’s 2008 offering, won critical acclaim and further cemented his place as a genuine purveyor of raw Soul music, both classic & contemporary.
The Jeff Floyd live performance experience is something to behold, as any witness will tell you….full of fire, passion & intensity rivaling any real Soul man before or since! There is nothing left to be desired from Jeff as he lays it all out on the oftentimes sweat soaked stage.

New material has been written & recorded for his first release since 2012’s “Watch Me Work” & he continues to tour rigorously on the strength of his awe inspiring stage shows and previous releases. He also maintains his status as one of the top Southern Soul singers in the world!
